TRADE FAIR UPDATE FOR ELECTRONICA 2020

For Palm Technology, Electronica has always been one of the world's most important global trade fairs for the electronics industry.

Palm Technology appreciates the professional framework that the trade fair offers and it has successfully participated in numerous trade fairs in recent years.

Since Palm Technology primarily uses Electronica for personal exchange, but at the same time expects a significantly lower visitor frequency due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, Palm Technology has decided, after intensive consideration, NOT to participate this year.

Determining for this decision was the very reserved announcement of the participation to the fair by customers and suppliers. Moreover, the new regulations and guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation make it considerably more difficult to participate in the fair. For the company, they represent further substantial restrictions on the planned trade fair presence, so that an exchange in the usual way and to the usual extent is unfortunately currently not feasible.

The restricted meet & greet aspect of the trade fair was a decisive factor for Palm Technology in this step. For the company the safety and protection of customers, visitors and employees is top priority.
